New Office + New Team Member!
We have some fun news to share today…we have moved office spaces! Since 2015, we’ve operated out of office and shop buildings at the end of our gravel road in Mt. Crawford. Although we loved the place, it wasn’t the most convenient for errands, meetings, and job sites. Plus, it’s hard to keep the trucks clean on a dusty gravel road!
We have now combined office and shop space with the Stratford Companies, located off of Cross Keys Road right before the intersection with 33. We still have a pretty view of fields and mountains out the back, but we’re now just a few minutes away from the post office, bank, supply stores, and other Harrisonburg locations that we visit frequently! Going to and from the jobsites is also more convenient since it doesn’t involve a five-minute drive on the gravel road every time.
We’d love to have you stop in and say hi sometime!
Although we’ve remained open and working, projects have been a little slower for us these last several weeks. The timing has actually worked out well, though, since it has given us more time to get organized and settled at the new place. We’re gearing up for a busy summer and fall and will be getting several large projects underway in the next couple of weeks.
In other news, we are excited to be welcoming a new team member! Matt Stoltzfus and his family moved to the area from Pennsylvania a few months ago. Matt has joined our field team and brings lots of fun and energy to the jobs.
I asked Matt to answer a few questions to help you get to know him better:
What would other people be surprised to find that you enjoy? I enjoy drifting with ATVs (bascially mudding).
If you were to design your dream home, what would be the most unique feature? An indoor sports gym.
If you were given five million dollars to open a small museum, what kind of museum would you create? It would be a gun museum.
Fill in the blank: If I have a free Saturday to do something fun, I call a friend and ___________. I would call André and play music.
We’re super excited to have Matt as part of the team!
Team Member Question of the Month:
What is a common experience for many people that you have never experienced?
Manny: I’ve never attending a major league baseball game in person.

Mahlon: I’ve never experienced heartburn, thank God! My wife tries to tell me how uncomfortable it is.
Matt: I’ve never been to a foreign country. It’s definitely something I want to do!
Gerald: I’ve never had trouble falling asleep. I’m grateful that I can always sleep.
André: I’ve never done any kind of water sports like water skiing or tubing. It’s something I’d love to get into.
Jared: I’ve never been stung by a bee.
Kaitlyn: I’ve never ridden a school bus to school. I was homeschooled.
