Harrisonburg Home Remodel

We recently completed a remodel on this cute 1954 home in Harrisonburg that was in need of some updates. A lot of the finishes in the home were still the original finishes. While this home was nice for when it was built, it was time to refresh and modernize it.

The original hardwood floors throughout the house were sanded and refinished with a natural finish to beautify all the spaces in the 1st floor.

The original kitchen cabinets remained in place with some modifications and a few new cabinets to make the layout work better. New tile backsplash, new lighting, new cabinet hardware, and new appliances all help to modernize and update this kitchen.

(Below) The main floor bathroom and the basement bathroom both got unique tile selections. We love the selections by the homeowner for these spaces! With some minor layout changes, both bathrooms went from a tight space that felt outdated to a welcoming and comfortable-feeling space.
